These "orbs" are actually bowling balls. They were in the same yard as the shoe tree telephone pole below (which is NOT the yard of the strange house a few posts down, by the way).

THEME: FOOTWEAR (Post #17; Day #14)
This telephone pole is covered from ground to tippy-top in women's high-heeled pumps. I guess it could be called a "shoe tree."
THEME: CHILDREN (Post #16; Day #14)
At the aquarium they have this giant starfish sculpture. These children found it a great place to sprawl out for a rest.
