If you are ever in the area, stop at The Range in Bernalillo, NM, for breakfast. Today I got their "Home on the Range" Oatmeal. The melting dollop on top is a scoop of cinnamon ice cream. This is NOT your mother's oatmeal! (And no, I couldn't eat it all.)
wow. Nice colors, and if you just tell yourself that oatmeal is "healthy", you can do it :-)

ReplyDeleteLooks hearty! I'm glad you said it was ice cream, for in New Mexico it could have been sour cream. I camped once in Bernalillo along the river. Pretty place.
ReplyDeleteMmmm! The restaurant really did well choosing the red bowls, really sets off a sometimes drab oatmeal color. You certainly have a wonderful food shot here...they should use it for their PR!
